LED lights and heating controls inside a campervan

Lights & Heating

Ready Whatever The Weather

Campervan lighting is a key feature that promises to enhance the appearance and atmosphere of your van.  With the correct choice of lighting and careful planning, you can create the right ambience for just about anything, adding both style and value to your van.

Camping in the UK comes with a variety of weather conditions, even in our summer months.  If you would like to extend your trips throughout the year and make them more comfortable then a night heater is a brilliant solution.

Lighting

In all our conversions we use high end LED lights which use about 1/5th of the power and are brighter compared to the equivalent halogen.

Our typical lighting installation would consist of 5-7 LED spotlights that are normally switched in zones. Each spotlight has 19 LED's that diffuse the light into a well-lit and bright living area.

Add extra lights in areas where you need it most, perfect for tailgates and wardrobes. Or add an elevating roof bed touch light, which offers a subtle relaxing glow to get ready for bed.  Add flexible neck reading/map lights to allow you to see without impeding eyesight.

Create different moods with strip lighting and colour changing LEDs.

A remote control can be supplied upon request to dim the lights.

Heating

There are 2 main options when choosing a night heater; a gas or a diesel heater.

Gas heaters are cheaper and seem to be a little quieter but require a gas system in place (this can be upgraded to a LPG re-fillable system making the gas much cheaper to run).

Diesel heaters do cost a little more but don't require a gas system and run by tapping into your fuel tank. It is also possible to mount a diesel heater externally saving some space and making it slightly quieter.

All night heaters will come with a Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector for your safety and peace of mind.

There are optional extras for all night heaters including 7 day timers and remote controlled via an app.

Although it is possible to retrofit a night heater, the best time to choose one would be at the time of your full conversion. This way we can perfectly integrate it into your furniture.
