The Quantock

Our Quantock design is a customer favourite, striking the perfect balance between storage and living space. The RIB seat offers an excellent combination of sleeping and travelling comfort whilst the pop-top roof, equipped with an elevating bed, provides ample room to stand and stretch after a restful night. Deep side cabinets span the length of the van, featuring a full-height wardrobe and smartly designed storage.

The energy efficient top-loading fridge is seamlessly integrated, providing additional worktop space as well as a spacious chamber for chilling food and drinks. The combination two-burner hob and sink, supported by a gas system and underslung water tank and pump, allow you to create culinary delights on the go.

Quantock Features

We tailor every conversion to our customer needs, however, the Quantock conversion typically includes the following:​

Elevating Roof

  • Choice of canvas colours

  • Elevating bed on an aluminium frame with 25mm mattress

 

Seating & bedding

  • 112cm ISOfix RIB bed in VW fabric

  • Seating

  • Seat/bed magnetic covers to create extra hidden storage spaces

Windows

  • Middle-fixed window

  • One standard half sliding window, complete with fly screen

  • Pair of barn door windows

  • Black out curtains for the front cab, side windows & barn doors with option to upgrade to a scenic view

  • Quantock conversion units including 3 drawers & a full height wardrobe with tambour door

  • Sliding table on a rail with aluminium folding leg

  • Two-burner hob/sink

  • Top loading compressor fridge

Lining & floors

  • Full side ply lining, lamb’s wool insulation & carpeting

  • Altro premium vinyl on top of a 12mm birch ply floor with fully insulated & sound deadened under floor spacers

  • Underslung water tank & pump with an external fill point

  • Pressure tested, no cylinder simply gas system

  • Autoterm (Planer) diesel night heater with CO alarm with the 2021 comfort LCD upgraded controller

  • 110Ah Leisure battery & split charge system 

  • 20A B2B charger upgrade

  • 120w Premium solar panel system bonded to roof with ETFE coating

  • LED lights on the strengthening frames & pop-top roof 

  • Seattle all in one electrical system including 240V, 12V, USB, battery charger, water probe & factory built wiring loom

The long-wheelbase has a longer worktop, 2 extra LED spotlights, increased cupboard space & a bigger wardrobe.
