VW Volkswagen Transporter T5 T6 8" 200mm Under Seat Subwoofer Sub Enclosure

Custom-built 200mm / 8" subwoofer enclosure designed to fit perfectly under the driver's or single passenger seat of a VW T5 or T6.

Developed in-house to address the poor fit of other options on the market, this enclosure fits into the seat base, though existing electric holders will need to be relocated.

For added security, the enclosure bolts into the existing holes in the seat base, black bolts included.

We've redesigned this sub enclosure so the original seat base plastics can clip back onto the backs. There's approximately 5mm clearance to the top of the seat base, accommodating most seat swivels. However, always double-check before installing over an expensive speaker.

As shown in the photos, we successfully fitted an Audison Amplifier and Hertz 200mm subwoofer (not included) under the passenger seat, providing an example of the enclosure carpeted. The amp is screwed onto the front of the sub for a compact setup where space is limited elsewhere.

The enclosure is made from 12mm MR MDF and is fully sealed. Supplied unfinished for you to carpet or paint.
